The day went on and soon the sky melted into the sea of gold and crimson with a few streaks of blue predicting that it's soon gonna be night. As Roohi was chilling in her room after dinner, she heard some commotion, she knew exactly what was happening. She took no time and quickly went downstairs, but during this process she accidentally twisted her ankle. She limped downstairs and saw her parents rushing Aruhi to the hospital. She knew that it was another blood transaction. "ROOHI!! ROOHI!! KAHAAN HU?? Where the fvck are you??" Her parents rushed, impatient and panicked voices were heard. " I am coming... Here I am." Roohi said as she struggled to walk but nobody noticed her limping. They were too concerned for Aruhi.
On the other hand, Rajveer was tossing and turning in the bed, a dream, a nightmare I may say was haunting him for years now. A blurred girl, haunting him not a ghostly looking but a really familiar silhouette, similar figure but a blurred face chasing him everywhere he goes. He woke up knowing that he obviously wasn't getting the sleep he needed. When he heard his phone ring, the caller ID said Aditya. He picked up and almost in an irritated and groggily voice he said, "WhAt happened now??!!" "It's an emergency, so our company branches in India, its economy for some reason is going down at a high rate, we need you to go there and look at it." Aditya quickly said in one breath "ugh, when are the recent flight tickets available??" "Don't worry about that sir, we have already booked a ticket and it's after 2 hours" and then the call was cut. By the time he had, he couldn't book a reservation for a place to stay so he had no option but to stay at his father's mansion when he reached there.
When he reached the airport, he saw Aditya there too. "What are YOU doing here??". Aditya chuckled and punched Rajveer's arm jokingly and said, "Look I might be your assistant working at your company, but I am also your friend, buddy. So i am there with you for moral support, plus that is my hometown too you know" "well that explains your stupid decision to follow and cling to me everywhere i go, but just so you know i didn't had time to book a reservation for a place to stay so it's either you stay with you parents (adoptive) or stay at my guest room"Rajveer rolled his eyes and replied annoyed "sure i guess, i'll just go to my parents house" Aditya replied
The plane took off and then after hours of being in the air they finally reached Indira Gandhi International Airport , Rajveer and Aditya parted ways each of them going to their parents house. The big gates of the mansion open and soon doors of the mansion opened, Rajveer spotted his father sitting on the sofa dozed off, he had told his father about his sudden visit. Rajveer was caught between the option to wake his father or to just leave him and talk to him in the morning but before he could make a decision his father's eyes fluttered open and a sense of relief washed through his father's face. "Dear, you here. Was the ride ok? Do you feel good?" Mr. Singhania (Rajveer's father) spoke as he knew that his son had motion sickness especially if he was taking a flight.
Rajveer just Scoffed, remembering the time years before when he was on his knees begging his father to not send him abroad all alone, his words slurred from all the crying, and his stepmother clearly hiding the amusement she was getting after seeing Rajveer so vulnerable. Rajveer just ignored him and was about to go to the guest room, when he was a figure walking down the stairs. "Oh dear, ignoring your beloved father??" It was none other than his stepmother, she spoke with a vicious smirk.
"You don't dare speak a word!! This is between me and my father-" Rajveer was about to say more but then his father cut him off. "ENOUGH!! YOU CAN'T SPEAK TO MY WIFE LIKE THAT!!" Rajveer Scoffed and muttered "exactly what I thought, still your second wife's pet" "excuse me!!" His father was much louder now.
"Listen, old man. I have to stay here because I had no time to book a reservation at a hotel. Or else I would have never stepped a foot in this house again. And this is MY important business work I came here for. I don't care about anything else, nor do I care about YOUR business or YOUR family drama. So. let. me. be!!" Saying that Rajveer took his suitcase and went to the guest room.
